Radical Right Populism and Immigration: Why Radical Right Populists are Anti-immigrationists?

This study focuses on why radical right populists are anti-immigrationists and what would have been the main implications of this opposition. The emphasis anti-immigration is crucial for populism literature; almost every points out xenophobia (in general) particular) as characteristic features populism. aims to contribute literature field in two ways: First, by including recent issues, second, presenting populist perspectives’ opposition immigration with a proposal four-axis classification. Although classification not definitive, it provide systematic holistic assessment advocates an exclusionary approach, attitude, action, policy towards immigrants. Within scope study, consists crisis politics, election instrument, Islamization phobia ressentiment dimensions. It has concluded that these four dimensions, if populism’s anti-immigrant attitudes, actions policies become widespread among local population start be expressed louder voices, create exclusionary, criminalizing discriminatory atmosphere toward immigrants refugees.
